Karen is a registered veterinary technician (RVT) and the Hickory Veterinary Hospital Practice Manager. She joined us in Aug 2005, originally as our Head Technician.

She gained her veterinary nursing knowledge from ICC in Brisbane, Australia and graduated in Nov 1993.

She enjoys gardening, watching movies, spending time with her 2 boys, husband, 4 dogs - Abbott, Costello (pictured), Harley, Scruffy and Tiki the cat.

Anita is our very busy Office Manager here at Hickory. She has been here since Feb 1991 and holds a Diploma in Business.

She enjoys cooking, watching movies, reading and travel. She also likes to spend time with Tucker her dog, and Katie and Monkey her cats.

Megan is our reception manager!

She started with us in May 2007. She is currently attending school in pursuit of a Nursing Degree.

Megan's interests are football, shoes(!), watching Grey's Anatomy, dogs and working on her tan!

Wendy is one of our full time receptionists. She started with us in March of 2007.

She keeps herself busy with family and friends and her puggle Maggie. 

Sharon is pictured here with her beloved Scarlet.

Some of us have had the pleasure of working along side Sharon since 1994, and she is also well known by many of our clients and their pets as their pet trainer! Sharon has a special interest in dog training and is a certified evaluater for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate. She also breeds champion Irish Setters who compete in Hunt Tests and Obedience.

A mother of 3 and proud grandmother of 3.5, Sharon keeps herself VERY busy when not at work!

Lorraine started at Hickory Kennels in 1996 and has since changed hats to become a veterinary assistant!

Fun loving and keeps everyone smiling, Lorraine is a busy lady at home with her husband, 2 sons, 3 dogs, 3 cats  and many friends and family.

Erin recently accepted a postion in the hospital as a veterinary assistant.
